Jones Insurance Agency was originally Howd Insurance Agency, beginning with Jim Howd in 1941. It was passed on to his son, Joel, who continued the tradition of great service until 1985. At that time, the long time family business was sold, and Jay Jones became the new agency principal. The agency has seen many changes over the years in the insurance industry, and automation, while still maintaining the best level of customer service in the area.
In 2006, we are opening a St. Louis branch office, offering personal lines insurance in Missouri and Illinois. We hope to expand our business in this area, while providing the same personalized service to all of our customers.
